Credit Suisse notified by registered mail and emails around 1,000 current and former employees at all levels that their names are forwarded to the U.S. Department of Justice (DoJ). This followed an agreement accepted between Switzerland and the US Department of Justice in order to solve their tax dispute.
Over 1000 employees from all levels seem to be involved. employees involved can object in the next 3 weeks, if they do not react they will be considered as silently agreeing.
Category 2 banks under the US Program also have to disclose employees’ names.
