Stefan Buck, who was Bank Frey & Co.’s head of private banking in Switzerland and an executive board member, was indicted together with Edgar Paltzer in April 2013 on a charges of conspiring to help wealthy American clients hide assets from the IRS. While E. Paltzer pleaded guilty, S. Buck asked for a bail package without leaving Switzerland and without having to appear in federal court in New York reports Bloomberg. Buck’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo proposed a $500,000 bail package requiring Buck to post $100,000 in cash.
